Inspired by the delicate beauty and curved lines of the Magnolia tree, this dining suite is hand shaped from the beautiful Australian Tasmanian Blackwood species. The stunning branch-like features, together with the rich dark hues of the native timber makes this an elegant and exquisite accent piece for the home or business.

Winner of the Queensland Furniture Awards, this designer dining suite is designed and custom made to order by Will Marx and can be fully customised to any dimension, colour and finish. The table and chairs can also be made in another timber of your preference.

This table measures 75cm high, but can be customised to any height suit. The table is designed to comfortably seat 8 standard dining chairs around it.

55 cm is generally the standard width for this dining chair but can be altered to suit your requirement. For maximum comfort, a seat width between 45 and 60 cm deep is recommended.

As most standard dining tables stand at approximately 74 to 75cm high, the recommended seat height is between 45 and 48 cm. As a rule of thumb, a minimum 30 cm is recommended between the top of the seat and the top of the table. However, the seat height can also be customised to suit.

The upholstery on this chair is a commercial grade cotton blend. The upholstery can be altered to leather (real or imitation), ultra suede, or wool or new fabrics like Sunbrella that are stain-resistant, soil-resistant, water-repellent or waterproof. Alternatively, a fabric of your choice can be sent to us to be used as the upholstery.

As each dining suite is made to order, the dimensions and materials are fully customisable to suit your home, office or business to reflect your personal style and interior. This includes adding drawers, shelves, legs etc. Each piece is personally custom made by Will Marx using the finest recycled solid timber to create a piece that will become a cherished heirloom and investment piece for years to come.

Every bespoke piece of work is accompanied by an Artist’s Bill of Sale and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Will Marx certifying that it is an authentic creation designed and handcrafted by the artist himself.

The current production lead time is 12 – 18 weeks. If you require more than 1 dining suite or before a certain date, please contact us prior to ordering to discuss.

The shipping costs provided is for a standard delivery service which means that delivery will take place between Monday and Friday, 9am and 5pm. Transit times will vary according to location. Each dining suite is delivered fully assembled and there is no assembly required. If you have a special requirement on shipping, i.e. weekend delivery, priority delivery etc., please contact us and we will be happy to accommodate.

Worldwide shipping available. Please note that for international shipping, airfreight and sea freight options are available. International shipping cost is for a sea freight option and tariffs / duties are not included.

Every dining suite comes with a 10 year warranty on construction.
